Establishing bona-fide residence quickly

I want to know of any time-sensitive actions I need to take to establish bona-fide residency now that I’ve landed. I read that I need to get a PR license within 30 days of arriving. What about voter registration (canceling CA and establishing puerto rican)?

Must I sign a lease ASAP? (I am in a hotel for now, which doesn’t have a long-term agreement).

Easiest order

  1. Get a lease
  2. Use lease to get state ID/license
  3. Use license to apply for voting

Without the lease you can’t unlock the others and you won’t be able to fulfill the connections.

Even a month to month agreement would suffice to get the driver’s license state id
